Improved Psychological Wellbeing

Women who join the group are asked to complete a comprehensive set of questionnaires, asking them about their recent experience of living with secondary breast cancer, when they first join and every six months thereafter. To read more about the results, click here.

Bowels

Constipation and diarrhoea are common side-effects of chemotherapy. There are several products that are effecitve in the treatment of constipation that are available from chemists. Both pear juice and prune juice are helpful, as is the pro-biotic drink found at the supermarket.
